The FealeGoodBank hosted Stand Up Bingo for 1st, 2nd and Transition Years in the GP area in aid of Pieta House. Pieta House, is the centre for the prevention of self-harm or suicide opened its doors a decade ago with Lucan in County Dublin the centre of operations. In the intervening years they have seen and helped over 20,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm, and established eight subsequent centres. We feel that it was very important to hold a fundraiser for this charity as our bank promotes positive mental health in the school. The day was a complete success and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who participated. The winners received vouchers and Easter Eggs. We raised €384 for Pieta House and would like to say a big thanks to everyone who participated.
